How to Train Your Dragon is an action-adventure video game which takes place after the film with the same name and before its sequel, How to Train Your Dragon 2. In this truly larger-than-life adventure, players will train dragons, explore environments and battle in prestigious dragon tournaments as they battle for Viking victory. Plus, gamers can become the Dragon hero of their living room as they square-off with friends and family in endless head-to-head multiplayer combat. Create Your Very Own Dragon - The "Create Your Dragon" feature allows players to customize six different types of dragons, providing virtually unending combinations of ways to modify your dragon's appearance. Depending upon the selected character, players can make use of tail whipping, head butting, and other abilities to build bridges, ride geysers, and overcome other obstacles. Petrie is also readily available to fly onscreen and offer advice and direction. Levels are composed of obstacle courses and puzzle-type action as players need to cross rivers, feed plants, and collect treestars while avoiding hazards, such as lava, water, and steep cliffs. After all five characters exit the fifth level, they are all reunited in the Great Valley.
